What is Pulmonary Rehabilitation?
Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a personalized program that helps people with lung disease improve their breathing, strength, endurance, and quality of life. The program combines exercise, breathing techniques, and education to help you manage your condition and stay active.
Our certified respiratory therapists provide individualized guidance and support throughout your program.
Patients typically attend our conveniently located clinic 2–3 times per week for 8–12 weeks, depending on their individual needs and treatment plan.
Is Pulmonary Rehabilitation right for me?
Living with lung disease can make physical activity more difficult. When you become less active, your muscles can lose strength and endurance, which can make everyday activities feel even more challenging.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation can help you safely increase your activity level, build strength and endurance, and become more confident managing shortness of breath.
Many people with COPD and other lung conditions find that they can walk farther, perform daily activities more easily, and stay active after completing pulmonary rehabilitation.
If lung disease limits your normal physical activity or affects your ability to work or enjoy everyday activities, Pulmonary Rehabilitation may be right for you.
